Fitted in four steps

Everything you need comes in the box, and there's nothing to drill.

Turn off the water

Turn off the cold water supply under your sink.
Connect to the cold pipe

Attach the inlet hose from the box to your cold water supply.
Connect the filter

Connect both hoses to the filter head. Everything you need is in the box.
Pour a glass

Turn the water back on and pour your first glass of filtered water.

What a Filtr8 takes out

Inside each cartridge is a carbon block made from NSF/ANSI certified materials. Water runs through it just before your tap, so it catches these on the way, including anything picked up in the pipes. These are the reductions in Filtr8's own performance testing.

99.20% LeadCan get into water from older lead pipes, and there's no known safe level of it.

99.40% Free chlorineThe main cause of that swimming-pool taste and smell in tap water.

99.10% ChloramineA long-lasting disinfectant some water companies add instead of chlorine. It leaves a taste and smell of its own.

What's inside the cartridge?

A carbon block made from NSF/ANSI certified materials. Water passes through it on its way to your tap, and the cartridge twists out in one piece when it's time to change it.

Do I need a plumber?

No. It fits under a standard UK sink using the hoses and fixings in the box, with no drilling.

Will it fit under my sink?

The filter unit is 31.2cm tall and 9.9cm wide, so it sits comfortably in most UK sink cabinets.

How often do I change the cartridge?

Every 12 months. The old one twists out and the new one twists in, in about 30 seconds. Subscribe and Save sends a new cartridge every 12 months for 20% less, and you can cancel anytime.

Can I return it after fitting it?

Yes. If you don't like it, send it back within 30 days of delivery, used or not. Return postage is yours to pay unless the item arrived damaged.
